CAROLINE DUFFIELD - CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

Caroline has always loved painting and drawing and comes from a family of artists. She studied at Leek College of Art and is married to John and has two grown up sons. She lives in Burton on Trent and works part-time as a Parish Administrator.

Caroline has had two solo exhibitions at the Burton Library with much success and has exhibited in many exhibitions in the Midlands. She has had work accepted at both the Derby Open and the Leicester Open.

Caroline paints in watercolour and ink normally favouring abstract floral themes and uses salt technique to achieve a variety of granulation effects. She sells both original framed paintings and mounted prints as well as greetings cards based on some of her designs.
